Why do they always go home?

I'm watching another car chase on TV ...

It seems that after the guy robs the bank, they drive right back to their neighborhood and try to escape. I guess once you get chased, the natural reaction is to go towards an area that you feel safe in. In this case, they always go home.

Perhaps they should make better preparations in the future. Like maybe moving into a new apartment or house, and not telling anyone where you live before you do the job. Looking at him, I can see mistakes, but what if it was me? What would I do?

UPOC Sub-leasing to Boomerang Communities

This is too weird... I use a site called UPOC that has messaging for Mobile Devices. Just a few seconds ago, I find another site that kind of looks like it, but it has a different location. It's called: Boomerangwireless. So I'm thinking, they can't be using the same members for both locations, are they? So I decided to log into the other site to see for myself. My name and all registration information, was right there on the other site. So I guess the new thing now, is too develop thousands of websites with different names and have them all lead to the same place. In the end I guess they can choose the website name that's most popular and stick with it.

Whats wrong with this picture? To much hapiness, or is it too contriversial? If you love someone, it doesn't matter what they look like to other people. YOU love THEM, and nothing else is important. Unless someone asks... WHY? If you begin to question yourself, or the love you feel, then perhaps you should re-think your decision.

[Webmasters Blog] It looks like I still got it...

I was asked today, what kind of slogan should be placed on a t-shirt for
a Financial Department Committee that specializes in Safety.

I didn't have much time to think about it, beacuse the order was to be
placed before the end of the work day.

The first thought I had was rejected, beacuse it was financial, but had
nothing to do with Safety.
So the next idea I came up with was:
"Revenue Recovery is a Safe Investment".
They Manager liked the idea, and decided to use it. I was thinking I
could "bill" them for the idea, but I don't think they'd want to pay my
fee, since I actually work there.

[Webmasters Blog] Website Programming that Hurts

I sent an email to one of the websites that "force feed" computers, so
that they go to their site instead of where people want them to go.
Read the following, and you'll see I gave them an ear-full:

When ever you download files into someones computer without their
consent, they feel as though they have no control over what's
happening.

You think your attracting more customers, but all your doing is scaring
people into NOT using the internet at all. You lose when you gamble
with peoples personal preferences. More people leave and you make no
money.

In the end, every business on the Net goes broke, and you accomplish
NOTHING. Why don't you try general advertising? I program websites for
for people to use when they choose, not using re-directs and force
feeding webpages.

In the end you'll gain nothing but angry people, that file class action
suits. Lawyers love it when a group of people get together for a common
cause. What will the "payout" be then?

See that's why I keep telling my friends to keep on top of thier studies. It's noce to think that you'll always have a good job, but when the companies are looking to save money, you'll be the first to go. Expecially if you have a higher salary than everyone else.

It's not at all my concern whether they ship jobs over seas, but for those that do lose their jobs, perhaps it's time to take a chance on starting your own business. I got layed off over 3 years ago and I promised that it would never happen to me again. It's not easy to do, but if you have anything that your really good at, try to make it a business. You can never fire yourself.
