There's about 76.4 million people retired or getting ready to retire, and still have to work because they don't have enough money. What do you think they'll do for work ?... I saw this coming 20 years ago, and started getting ready.

Sustaining The Work

Alright, so the work day is active from the time you wake up and your working on the assignment that you were given.  You know that once the assignment is submitted, then your done.  But then something comes back saying there's a mistake in what you gave back.  Don't get nervous about it.  Double check your work, and make sure that the question you were asked was understood properly.  It's possible that the mistake is not yours, and the customer asked the wrong question.  It's also possible that you misunderstood the question, and you now have to correct your work.

This happens sometimes, and we have to find ways to work through it.  Rather than complain, we have to find out what's wrong, and request clarification on the subject.  If you know for sure you made a mistake, then correct it, and resubmit the answer or solution.  If you know for sure "after double checking", don't blame the client.  Instead, ask for clarification so that you can better understand the problem, and come up with right solution.

Now that the assignment becomes more complex, this is actually an opportunity to make yourself look better rather than look worse, by being more detailed in your resolve.  Conflicts in assignments can be difficult, but not impossible to figure out, and it makes you look good when you can still fix the problem and resubmit the answer that's right regardless of who's fault it is.  Remember that the end will justify the means, and offer more options then you need to, so that your client knows that your more capable.  Use the resources that you have in the network to get the work done.

Team work is what makes "Office Work" more preferable to people that work in an office, and you should remember that you have others doing the same work that your doing, and are there to help you.  If you get stuck with an assignment that your having problems with, post it on the Internal Messageboard (Not the Public Messageboard) so that you can get help from the other members.  If it's something that you can't do at all, then don't be ashamed to notify the "Network Administrator", so that it can be reassigned to someone else.

Reasoning and Motivation
Here's a good example of how we're conditioned to work.  Let's say you have the weekend off and Friday night it's time to get the laundry done.  But there's a few good shows on TV, and you put it off for Saturday.  So on Saturday, it's beautiful outside, and you decide to enjoy the day, and put the laundry off until Sunday.  So when Sunday comes, there's a Concert that you have tickets to, and you spent that day at a friends house so that you can all go together.  Monday Morning comes, it's time to go back to work, and the laundry that you should have done on Friday Night is still there.

The example sounds extreme, but we've all done it.  If you did that at work, you might be terminated for putting off work that should have been done for 3 days, and that's the point I'm trying to make.  When you work using a Mobile Device outside of an office you can't put things off, because you have something to do.  Most of the assignments are due on that same day, and someone's business depends on the work getting done.  So we should agree, that being self-motivated is a big part of mobile working.

The motivation comes from you.  Once you know what to do, then you can do it, because you know it has to be done.  We don't get paid to do our own laundry, but if someone pays you to do their laundry, and you agree, then it has to be done.  Most people won't do what they need to do for themselves, because they don't have to, but we're talking about "work" so you can't make excuses, when you have more than enough time to do it.
And the last point is this...
Television is educational, but unless your taking a work course in Media Broadcasting, it doesn't pay anything.  The Shows on television will occupy your time just enough that hours will pass by.  The Cartoons will entertain you all afternoon, but there's no profit in them unless you were hired to watch Cartoons.  So, make time to work with your mobile device, and keep in mind that your getting paid to work with it.  Turn off the games and the television, and load the Business Programs that you need to get your work done, so that you can have more free time afterwards.

Finding the Time to Work

The best way to make better use of the time you have, is to stop wasting the time that you can use to work with.  Throughout your life you've heard people say things like: "that was a waste of time", "I could have made better use of my time", or the most common phrase, "stop wasting my time".  The person that is actually wasting the time is YOU, by allowing others to control it.

So the other phrase about "time is money" might be true, if your actually using the time you have to do the work that needs to be done.  When you receive an assignment, the due date is usually 24 hours, but depending on the project type, it may take several days.  The whole idea of working with a mobile device is being able to continue working when your away from a standard computer or laptop.  So we have to arrange things so that we can continue where we left off.

If you don't know what kind of file you might be working with, then you should be able to either create it on your device, or have a copy of the file type that you can use already there.  When you sign into the Mobile Website at the Activemode Network, you can find some of the files you need, so that helps a little bit.  The next thing you need to be able to do is open the file on your device and add or make changes to the content of the file your using.  This will take practice, so you should use the free time that you have to find different ways of doing it.

Don't allow yourself to become frustrated if there's something that you can't do.  If it's been done by someone else, then you can do it too.  Take a deep breath and think about what your doing and how you want to do it.  If you know your not going to be near a computer, then make sure that everything you need is on the mobile device so that you can get to it.  Make sure your phone is fully charged, and stay focused, so that you can finish, and be done with it.

And finally, as mentioned in the beginning, there's always time to work, if your not distracted by other things.  Games, entertainment, and other activities are fine when you have time for it.  You have to decide what's important to you, and make the best use of the time you have to get your work done.  Once the time is wasted, you won't get any of it back, and you'll end up rushing to finish.  Begin working early, and do everything you can to prepare for interruptions that slow you down.

Using Mobile Applications for Business
For quick reference, these are the links you need to learn what you need to do in order to work with a Mobile Device:

Free Software
Quickoffice Help Center
Google Drive
Office 365
OneDrive

You need to have at least one of these applications on your Mobile Device in order to work.  If you have more, then you can do more with what you have.  Invest in yourself.
Okay, so basically, you need a way to create and save Documents, Spreadsheets, and other Files on a Mobile Device.  There's no way to get away from this requirement, unless you have all the information that you need inside your head.  Even then, you need to place the information in an organized format, so that your client can use it.  That's what they're paying us for, and that's what we'll be paying you for.

If you've never used a "Business Application" before, then your going to learn.  It's not as difficult as you might think, and the good news is once you learn, you don't forget.  Most applications have things in common that we look for and the key to learning new applications, is to look for those things they have in common.  The first thing you should do when using a new program is to look for the "menu" and see what each option does.

Regardless of the kind of device your using, there's a Business Application that you can use to get your work done, you just have to look for it.  Most people use these "Smart Phones" for game playing, but that's not what they were designed for.  There's no profit in Games, only Entertainment.  The more time you spend working will give you more time for Entertainment, so try and stay focused.

And finally, establish a good attitude for working.  When you work a regular job, it requires you to get up out of bed, and go to work.  And you have to get there on time, or you'll get terminated.  Mobile Working is not a requirement, and you don't have to do it.  This is something that you have to "want" to do for yourself, because there's no one watching you when you work.  Regardless the work has to be done, or someone else will do it.
